Developed over the course of about half a year, mipilin was designed as a spiritual successor and love letter to imood and other social websites of its era.
The intent was to ultimately turn it into a worthy successor to imood that would have brought people together and help them understand their feelings in a more personal and less intimidating manner. After years of regularly pseudo-journaling on imood, I can tell you that once it becomes a habit to go on there, it becomes much easier to find ways to express how you're feeling because you're always expressing your emotions in a way that requires you to find a single word to adequately describe it. It doesn't always have to be a commitment, though.
